We often get asked what land clearing services we offer. Land Clearing is an umbrella term that encompasses many projects – many depending on what type of equipment each company uses and how big or small the land clearing company is. JSR Land Clearing has the capacity to clear anywhere from .5 acres to 500 acres! We have excavators, dozers, and a skid steer along with well-seasoned operators to get the job done.
The Land Clearing Process
- Land Development: Land clearing is the first step in the site work process. Once it’s finished, site work will continue with the required excavating, grading, drainage work, paving, etc. In most circumstances, it’ll be easier to work with a full-service excavating/ land clearing contractor that will handle all your site work from the beginning of the project to the end. Sometimes, we may contract with other organizations to take care of certain tasks. But we will take that on, leaving you less to deal with.
- Services we offer: We form and dig ponds, create driveways, clear unwanted trees, mulch when needed, haul off debris, place drainage systems to best suit your land, Grade/level your land, and much more.
- Depending on your specific site’s needs, additional development is required after or during the land-clearing operation. This can include grading and stone removal services. Grading alters the contours of your site’s height to meet aesthetic and regulatory needs. If required, rock removal will eliminate any large below-grade rocks that restrict construction.
- Site preparation requires clearing the lot, including tree removal. It is the initial stage of building any residential, commercial property, or land development project. When preparing the property for a house or other structure, removing trees, shrubs, bushes, and other obstructions is crucial.
It’s essential to work with an experienced land clearing or excavating contractor that delivers the site work services your project requires. We have a background in a wide variety of site work services. In addition, we’re family owned and love to get involved early in the process to support you and your team in planning the project in the most efficient way possible.
